Lexus, but not as you know it

Six Lexus models at world's biggest trade show for car customisation in US.

Lexus put together a collection of six cars for the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.  Toyota's upmarket brand might not be the first name you think of when it comes to modified vehicles, but this is Lexus' sixth year at the world's biggest trade show for car customisation.  Unique versions of the LS 460 F Sport and GS 350 F Sport have been created for the show.  The LF-CC coupé concept, IS FCCS-R race car, LFA and LFA Nürburgring Edition were also on display.

Five Axis design studio created a customised LS 460 F Sport.  The package includes a full body kit, 22-inch custom wheels and Air Runner air suspension.  Paintwork is matt silver with grey accents.  The standard LS 460 F Sport is due in the UK later this year.

The Lexus GS 350 F Sport appeared at last year's show but has been reinterpreted by VIP Auto Salon for 2012.  A supercharger kit has been fitted to raise performance and there are Brembo brakes behind the 20-inch alloy wheels.  A WALD International Aero styling package helps the GS stand out.

It might look like it was created just for show but the IS F CCS-R recently achieved second place in its class at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.  The 5.0-litre V8 engine is standard but the body features carbon fibre elements; racing brakes and exhaust system are also fitted.

Lexus unveiled the LF-CC Concept at the Paris Motor Show in September; the SEMA show is the car's first appearance in the USA.

The SEMA show is a trade only event in Las Vegas that ran from 30th October to 2nd November this year.
