Audi will reveal its open-topped RS 5 model this week online.

As teasers go the one for Audi's new RS 5 Cabriolet has to be the vaguest. Ordinarily press teasers are accompanied with at least a picture of the tail-light but all Audi has told us is that the rag top version of the RS 5 will be unveiled to the world on September 6 at 1pm.
Barring some strange quirk within the quattro division in Ingolstadt we fully expected the Cabriolet to be powered by the same 4.2-litre V8 engine as the coupé, meaning 450hp, 430Nm of torque and a 0-100km/h time of not much more than 4.5 seconds.
Unfortunately that is all the information we have to hand. More to come when launch event begins...
