Peugeot RCZ to cost from €36,495

New Peugeot sports car will come with two engines and one trim level.

Peugeot's RCZ will cost from €36,495 when it goes on sale in Ireland shortly.

There will be one trim level available, the RCZ Sport, with a choice of two engines: a 2.0 HDi 163hp engine with six-speed manual gearbox, (139g/km CO2, band B road tax of €156) and a 1.6 petrol 200hp engine with six-speed manual, (159g/km CO2, band D road tax of €447). The 1.6 petrol model will cost €41,495.

Standard equipment on both petrol and diesel models will include Bluetooth and USB connectivity, leather upholstery, electric sports front seats, auto headlamps and wipers, electrochrome rear view mirror, electric folding mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, electric front windows, an alarm, cruise control with speed limiter, 18-inch alloy wheels, active rear spoiler, leather gear knob, stitched nubuck dashboard covering, remote stalk control radio, CD and mp3 player and aluminium door sills.

A sports pack will come as standard in Ireland to include a leather sports steering wheel and short-shift gearchange.
