Based on the popular Golf Mark VI three-door model the Golf Van is powered by a 90hp version of Volkswagen's 1.6-litre TDI engine that is capable of returning 4.5 litres/100km (62.7mpg) on the combined cycle. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, a leather-covered steering wheel and an auxiliary input for MP3 players.

"We know that there is a strong demand for this vehicle from small business users as it offers the best of both worlds, namely the comfort and quality of a Golf, with the load carrying capacity of a light commercial vehicle."
The Golf Van is available to order from Volkswagen passenger car retailers priced from €16,290 excluding VAT.
