SEAT to set the pace at Bavaria City Race Dublin

Pair of Leon Cupra Rs to act as Safety and Pace cars for motoring extravaganza.

SEAT Ireland will be setting the pace at this weekend's Bavaria City Racing Event in Dublin as a pair of Leon Cupra R models take to the streets to act as Safety and Pace Cars for the Event. The 265hp hot hatches will be joined by an Exeo ST that will act as a Medic support vehicle for the event that takes place this Sunday in Dublin's City Centre.

The Bavaria City Racing Dublin track starts at the Convention Centre Dublin, continues along Custom House Quay before crossing Butt Bridge, chicanes at D'Olier Street, zips past College Green and the Central Bank on Dame Street before reaching the chequered flag on O'Connell Bridge.

According to SEAT Ireland Brand Director, Adam Chamberlain, the racing cars on the day might have their work cut out for them. "The Leon Cupra R is a seriously quick car, so the only worry is that the Formula 1 cars on the day just won't be able to keep up," says Chamberlain. "We are delighted to be supporting what promises to be a really exciting free event for motorsport fans."

No official word yet on who will take the wheels of the Leon Cupra Rs, but if SEAT is unable to locate a pair of tame racing drivers the team at CompleteCar would be willing to help out...
