Land Rover Ireland has announced that it is to extend its partnership with rugby star Jamie Heaslip. The Leinster and Ireland number 8 will continue in his role as Land Rover Brand Ambassador - a role he has held for the past year - into 2013.
Commenting on the new announcement, Eddie Kavanagh, General Manager, Land Rover Ireland said: “We are very pleased to extend our relationship with Jamie. He is an excellent ambassador for Land Rover and we look forward to working closely with him in the months ahead. I would like to wish him and all his Leinster team-mates continued success and the very best of luck this Sunday”.
Heaslip himself took a break from his preparations for this weekend’s RaboDirect PRO12 Final against Ospreys to renew the partnership and the Heineken Cup winner said: “I am delighted to continue my association with Land Rover. It is a fantastic brand for me to partner with - the cars are great to drive and Land Rover has invested heavily in rugby across the world so the fit is ideal for me”.
