Limited edition models add to Focus' appeal

Zetec S and Titanium X models added to Ford Focus line up.

Ford Ireland has announced that it is to extend the range of the Focus with the introduction of two new limited editions. Badged as Focus Zetec S and Titanium X, the new models are said to add a touch of sportiness and a premium feel to the range.

The sporty Zetec S is powered by Ford's 1.6-litre TDCi diesel engine with power outputs of either 95- or 115hp. The Zetec S adds unique body styling, 17-inch alloys with red brake callipers, tinted rear windows, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and velour floor mats to the Focus’ standard specification.

The new premium Titanium X, available in four- and five-door guises, has the same 1.6-litre diesel engine as the Zetec S, but is only available with 95hp. The Titanium’s specification includes 17-inch Titanium alloys, Deflation Detection System, Active Park Assist (Ford's automatic parking system for getting the car into tight parallel parking spots), Visibility Pack, Bluetooth Voice Control and USB and a full-size spare wheel.

“Our new Zetec S and Titanium X Focus models will meet our customers’ need for a high-end, more sporty-looking Focus,” commented Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director, Ford Ireland. “With an appealing range of extra discounted features on each model, we are sure the new Limited Series will find favour with our loyal Focus customer-base.”

Prices for the Zetec S start at €24,927 with the Titanium X from €25,200.
