Urban proof Skoda Yeti edition on the way

New Skoda Yeti Urban will arrive in May loaded with equipment.

Skoda Ireland has announced it will add another model to the successful Yeti range when it launches the Yeti Urban. Set to line up between the Ambition and Elegance models in terms of both price and specification the new Urban will be priced from €25,190 and include equipment such as a panoramic sun roof, 17-inch black-silver alloy wheels, cruise control, air conditioning and Bluetooth phone preparation.

Commenting on the launch of the Yeti Urban, Raymond Leddy, Head of Marketing at Skoda Ireland, said, "The Yeti Urban provides an excellent alternative to the traditional SUV. Not only is it far more economical both in terms of fuel consumption and road tax it now has some great new features including funky alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof as standard"

The Yeti Urban will be powered by a 110hp version of the venerable 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine that can return 5.4 litres/100km (52.3mpg) on a combined run while emitting 140g/km of CO₂, meaning annual road tax of €225.

Skoda has also said its 5.9% APR Skoda Finance offering will be extended to the Yeti Urban when the model goes on sale in May.
