300 new jobs for new Motorway Service Areas

National Roads Authority and Applegreen join forces to create 300 jobs.

Irish forecourt retailer, Applegreen, has been awarded the Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract to operate three new Motorway Service Areas (MSAs) by the National Roads Authority (NRA). In a €70 million investment by Applegreen, 300 new jobs will be created when the new MSAs, located on the M1 and the M4 motorways open in September and October this year.

Every MSA will facilitate separate fuelling areas for cars and HGVs, restaurants, showers and play areas for children and will be the first MSAs to open in Ireland.

The first will be located at Castlebellingham, Co. Louth and Lusk, Co. Dublin both on the M1, and Enfield, Co. Kildare on the M4.

The recruitment process to fill the 300 new, full- and part- time jobs is underway and application details can be found at http://applegreen.ie/jobs.
