Will the new Alpine A110 be at the Paris Motor Show?
Maybe. And then again, maybe not quite. So far, Alpine is only confirming that “Paris will mark the next stage in that journey, with Alpine set to reveal further details of the iconic model’s evolution.” Those details will apparently be revealed on 28 September, just ahead of the Paris Motor Show 2026 (Mondial de l’Auto) itself.
What do we know about the new Alpine A110?
We know it will be electric, using a new platform that divides up the battery into separate sections to get the seating position nice and low within a ‘mid-engined’ body that will stick pretty close to the styling of the current — and heart-stoppingly brilliant — A110 sports car. We also know — or think, at least — that Alpine may be prepping a petrol-powered version to sell alongside the all-electric model, which is something that Alpine’s big rival, Porsche, is also doing with the new Boxster and Cayman. We also know that there will be 800-volt fast charging and twin rear electric motors. We know too that there will be, for the first time, a convertible A110.
What else is Alpine doing at the Paris Motor Show?
Ah, here we’re on firmer ground. Alpine will be using the existing A290 hatchback and the A390 coupe-SUV to show off its new Atelier Alpine service, which is its bespoke division. Potential well-heeled customers will “be able to explore a wealth of new colours, trims and finishes in person.”
What else will be happening?
There are also new A290 and A390 variants to show off. There’s a new Collection trim for the A290, which comes with Blanc Nival with a black roof as standard, body-colour wheel arches and 19-inch diamond-cut Snowflake wheels with silver brake calipers. There’s also a new blue-grey cabin trim, a black leather steering wheel with heating, and there’s the option of a special Bleu Orage Mat paint.
What about the Alpine A390?
The bigger A390 will be showing off some of the Atelier Alpine bespoke stuff, including a GTS-spec show car with a Bleu Tempête Mat body colour and a black roof, new bucket seats (by racing seat maker Sabelt) with Nappa leather, 21-inch forged ‘Snowflake’ alloys and carbon interior trim.
When do we get to see all this?
The Paris Motor Show takes place from 12 to 18 October 2026, but as we noted, there will be some more A110 news on 28 September…
