DS Automobiles has revealed the DS 3 Maison Sarah Lavoine, a special-edition version of its compact SUV for France, created in collaboration with French interiors and lifestyle brand Maison Sarah Lavoine.
The DS 3 Maison Sarah Lavoine is offered with either a 145hp hybrid powertrain or as the all-electric E-Tense, which DS says can cover up to 396km on the WLTP test cycle.
What's Maison Sarah Lavoine?

Maison Sarah Lavoine was founded by Sarah Poniatowski and is known for its use of bold colour, furniture and interior design. DS says the collaboration is built around a shared interest in design, craftsmanship and French style.
"To create is to give a little more soul to everyday life. Style only has meaning if it evokes emotion,” said Sarah Poniatowski, President and Founder of Maison Sarah Lavoine.
And how does this relate to the DS 3?

That influence is most obvious in the detailing. The DS 3 Maison Sarah Lavoine uses Emerald Green as its signature exterior colour, while inside it gets black Alcantara, model-specific stitching and trim details intended to reflect the Maison Sarah Lavoine design style.
DS says the special edition is aimed at buyers who want a small SUV with a stronger design focus than the standard car.
Any other collaboration between DS and the design house?

The collaboration is also being backed by a new advertising campaign called "Beauty does you good”, which begins on 31 May across television, digital platforms and social media. DS says the advert shows a stylised version of Paris transformed by the creative world of Maison Sarah Lavoine.
The campaign will be supported by digital and social activity, print advertising and a DS Experiences event in France from 12 to 14 June, when DS Stores will display the car and offer test drives.
Bastien Schupp, DS Automobiles Marketing and Communications Director, said that the campaign "presents in an original, dynamic and colourful way our new creation designed to once again delight everyday life.”
