Drogheda Motor Show returns for 2026

The Drogheda motor show is back for 2026, and this time the event will be held at a new location, moving to the Old Abbey at Dominic Street Car Park.

What can I see at the Drogehda motor show?

Nineteen car and van brands will be represented at the show, with more than 100 vehicles on display. Those include cars from Blackstone Motors (representing Renault, Dacia and Opel); Brian Reynolds Car Sales (Fiat, Mazda and MG); Colm Quinn BMW (BMW); Frank Keane Drogheda (Hyundai and Suzuki); Jack Doran Motors (Kia and Citroën); Malones Toyota Drogheda (Toyota); Smiths of Drogheda (Ford and Ford Commercial Vehicles); Western Motors Drogheda (Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Cupra, SEAT and Škoda); and Windsor Drogheda Peugeot (Peugeot).

Do I have to pay to get in?

Nope, entry to the Drogheda motor show is free, thanks to the event being backed not only by all the local dealers named above, but also by First Citizen Finance, the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), Drogheda & District Chamber, and LHK Group.

But my family will whinge about me looking at cars…

That's OK, because this is very much a 'fun for all the family' event, and includes music, dancing, face painting, arts and crafts, and plenty more entertainment throughout the day. The show's organisers have also promised 'exciting new elements' for this year's show, with some more announcements about what those might be due in the coming weeks.

When is this all taking place?

The Drogheda motor show takes place on Saturday, 13 June, starting at 10am and running until 4pm. As well as all the shiny new cars and the fun stuff on the side, the event is also heavily focused on road safety, and it's supported, in that regard, by Louth County Council, An Garda Síochána, and the Road Safety Authority.
