Porsche Centre Dublin will open a second dealership premises to complement its existing showroom just off the M50 motorway. Part of the Joe Duffy dealer group, the Porsche Centre's second location will be in Dun Laoghaire.
Porsche sales must be going well, then?
Indeed so. Porsche sales in Ireland were up by 82 per cent last year, and the new south Dublin showroom, on Dun Laoghaire's Rochestown Avenue, will be in the heart of one of the wealthiest areas of the country.
What can we expect from this new Porsche showroom?
Porsche Centre Dublin describes the new Porsche Centre South Dublin setup as a 'boutique' dealership, which will have a dedicated handover room, as well as six service bays and three 'dialogue bays.'
There will also be space for a wheel alignment service and a dedicated EV diagnostic bay. Oh, and there'll be space for some approved used Porsches too. The outside of the building features a new Porsche corporate look with aluminium and LED light highlights, while inside, there's a 'racing line' pathway to help guide you through the various displays.
When is this all happening?
The new Porsche centre opens officially on the 9th of February. Gavin Hydes, Group CEO of the Joe Duffy Group, said: "The opening of our satellite Porsche Centre South Dublin is another key milestone in our history with this iconic marque, marking the second Porsche Centre we have brought to customers in Dublin. Working together with the team at Porsche Centre Dublin, the satellite in South Dublin will enable us to better serve our customers in the region, in particular by expanding the after-sales capacity, as the appeal of the range continues to grow. We expect that Porsche Centre South Dublin will be extremely popular and convenient given its proximity to Dublin's city centre and provides another option for customers not only in South Dublin but also the Southeast”.
