Lexus goes sexy at Detroit Auto Show next year

Here's a teaser image, previewing a new Lexus concept car.

Lexus has released a single image of a new concept car it will unveil at the Detroit Auto Show in January. Designed by Calty, Lexus' Californian design studio, the concept is said to 'showcase the new design direction embraced by Lexus' and may hint at an upcoming sports car to slot in below the LFA.

Details are limited to say the least but from the picture we can clearly see an aggressive, sporty look with inspiration taken from the Calty designed GS range. The deeply recessed headlights feature a trio of circular LED lights, a wide bumper houses air ducts for brake cooling and the concept wears deeply concaved 21-inch alloys.

More information will be made available next week ahead of the new car's official unveiling in early January.
