Leapmotor has appointed Kenny Galway on Tuam Road as its first retail partner in Connacht and fourth in Ireland, extending the new electric car brand's reach into the west.
From this month, the dealership will offer Leapmotor's compact T03 city car and the C10 family SUV, with the B10 compact SUV scheduled to follow in November. Sales and servicing will be supported through Gowan Auto's national network, which already distributes several Stellantis brands in Ireland.
Kenny Galway has been operating in the city since 1992. The business moved from Headford Road to its purpose-built showroom on Tuam Road in 2003 and has been the main Peugeot dealer for Galway since 2014.
The dealership says it will provide full sales, service and support for Leapmotor models, adding an electric brand to its existing line-up.

Leapmotor's move into Galway is part of a wider dealer rollout across Ireland. The brand is coming to market through a tie-up with Stellantis, while Gowan Auto handles the role of national importer and distributor.
The arrival of the T03 and C10 gives buyers in the region a local point of contact for test drives and orders, while the B10's introduction next month will add a third model to the range.
