Leapmotor has appointed Joe Norris Motors in Navan, County Meath, as its first official retail partner in Ireland. The appointment comes ahead of the launch of the brand's first two models in the Irish market - the compact T03 city car and the C10 SUV - which are due to go on sale in October.
Joe Norris Motors has been a familiar name in Irish motoring for decades. Originally founded in 1986 by Joe Norris, who had a long-standing relationship with Renault in the region, the dealership now operates from a facility on the Kentstown Road and represents the Peugeot brand for County Meath. Leapmotor will also now be distributed by the Navan-based business.
The partnership with Leapmotor will give Meath car buyers access to a new range of electric vehicles. Both the T03 and C10 will be sold and serviced through the Gowan Auto retail network, which already distributes several brands including DS Automobiles, Peugeot and Citroën.
Joe Norris Motors Dealer Principal Pieter Van Der Linde described the partnership as an exciting development: "joining Leapmotor at the start of its Irish journey is an exciting and proud moment for the dealership. We look forward to bringing Leapmotor's innovative, feature-rich electric vehicles to our customers and to being at the forefront of sustainable mobility in County Meath and beyond.”
More Leapmotor retail partners across Ireland are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
