Polestar has expanded its physical presence in Ireland with the opening of a permanent showroom in Sandyford. Known as the Polestar Space, the new site includes a seven-car display and dedicated customer handover bays. It becomes the brand's main retail location in the country, offering test drives and in-person ordering alongside the existing online sales platform.

Polestar Business Editions launched

The opening coincides with the introduction of new Business Editions of the Polestar 2, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 electric vehicles. These models are pitched at buyers looking for higher levels of standard equipment and long range figures without stepping up to more expensive trims. The Business Edition name alludes to their suitability for purchase through a company, to make the most of current BIK taxation rules on electric cars.

Polestar 2 Business Edition

The Polestar 2 Business Edition is based on the single-motor, standard-range model (SMSR) and has a WLTP range of 554 kilometres. Irish pricing starts at €44,025, including the SEAI grant and delivery. Standard equipment includes metallic paint, 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, an electric tailgate and a high-performance audio system.

Polestar 4 Business Edition

The Polestar 4 Business Edition uses the long-range, single-motor (LRSM) version of the P$ as its basis, with a quoted WLTP range of 620 kilometres. It starts at €56,490 and includes features such as metallic paint, 20-inch alloys, a panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera system and heated front seats.

Polestar 3 Business Edition

The largest of the three models is the Polestar 3. The Business Edition is also based on the long-range, single-motor (LRSM) model and offers up to 706 kilometres of WLTP range. It starts from €83,590 and includes adaptive cruise control, a full-length panoramic sunroof and acoustic windows designed to reduce cabin noise.

All three cars are now available to test drive at the Polestar Space Sandyford showroom, which is operated by Spirit Motor Group.

More new Polestars coming

The company has also confirmed that the Polestar 5 will launch in Ireland in January 2026. The Polestar 5 is a sleek grand tourer with a 670km range, revealed at this year's IAA Mobility Fair (aka the Munich motor show). Click here to read all about it.
