Bradys Cupra Paws & Pistons event

Bradys Cupra Paws & Pistons event

We who are dog owners love bringing our dogs out in our cars (in an appropriately safe and restrained fashion of course…) and many dogs love being in the car almost as much as they love being driven to somewhere new for a walk, run, sniff, and poop.

I sense this is, ahem 'leading' somewhere…

It is indeed. With the mix of canines and automobiles very much in mind, Brady's Cupra dealership in Castlenock, in west Dublin, is holding a special Paws and Pistons day, which will run on Saturday, 7 June from 10am to 1pm.

What's happening on the day?

The event is being held to help raise funds for the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) and that organisation will be bringing along some of its rescued dogs for everyone to meet. There will also be expert pet care advice on offer, and the opportunity to have your own dog immortalised in a professionally shot “dogtography” portrait.

Anything else?

Oh yes, there will be facepainting by Amy @ Amzcoo, snacks from Suzy's Deli, artisan coffee by Essence, and of course some gourmet dog treats from The Woofing Oven Dog Bakery.

I presume some cars might also be involved?

Of course. It's also a chance to get to see the newly expanded Cupra lineup, with the all-electric Tavascan and Born, the recently facelifted Formentor and Leon, and the all-new Terramar SUV. “We're excited to host an event that celebrates both community and compassion” said a spokesperson for Bradys CUPRA. “Whether you're a dog lover, a car enthusiast, or just looking for a great way to spend your Saturday morning, Paws & Pistons is the perfect local outing.”

Do I need a ticket?

Yes, it's a free event but there will be tickets and you can reserve your space on the Eventbrite app.
