Details of the un-named new car are sketchy but Porsche promises 'impressive performance and dynamic looks, exuding unadulterated driving pleasure'. A stripped-out roadster, along the lines of the 550 Spyder is known to be in the pipeline and it would certainly fit the description, but it's also possible that the new-look Boxster will be launched in LA.
The new, lighter 911 Carrera will receive its first outing in the USA at Los Angeles too. The company will also showcase the Panamera S Hybrid and Cayenne S Hybrid.
Porsche will reveal its new model on 16th November. We'll be there.
