Nissan Juke-R on video

Nissan has released a video explaining how it's making its Juke/GT-R hybrid.

It would appear that some people are still questioning the existence of the Nissan Juke-R so the good people at Nissan have gone and put a video together to finally silence the doubters. Actually Nissan has made a series of videos and we join at vid number two where the engineers from Nissan and RML explain the complexities involved in fitting the technical gubbins from a GT-R into the body of the compact Juke.

Finding space for all the electronics that control the GT-R's complicated engine and all-wheel-drive system is the easy part; the real fun begins when the engineers try to squeeze in the twin-turbo V6 engine, dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive arrangement. Over 250mm of the driveline will be chopped out to fit while the entire floor of the Juke will be binned and the car built fresh from the ground up.

Nissan says two 'design studies' of the Juke-R will be ready for testing soon, which is convenient as we're in negotiations with Nissan about our copyrighted names 'GodJukey' and 'JukeZilla' - and a Juke-R would look good on my driveway.
