A lot of manufacturers offer some kind of pick-up truck but few standard pick-ups can accommodate three pallets in their load area, meaning those who require the extra space have to purchase a chassis cab and then have a load area added. Well not anymore.

Fiat Professional has got a drop on the competition by offering a factory built pick-up that has been designed to accommodate three Euro pallets and has a payload of up to 1,000kg. In addition to an opening tailgate the new Fiat Doblo Work Up also has opening side panels making for easier access to the 2.3m x 1.82m load box.

Buyers of the new Work Up will have a choice of three diesel engines: a 90hp 1.3-litre; a 105hp 1.6-litre and a 135hp 2.0-litre. Prices start from €16,318 (ex VAT) for the 1.3-litre powered model rising to €18,488 (ex VAT) for the 2.0 MultiJet II.
