Audi Waterford Announce €6m Investment in new showroom

30 Jobs to be created over next two years

Audi Waterford is set to build a new showroom in Waterford city. 30 jobs will be created over the next two years at the showroom that is due to open in the summer of 2012. The construction phase will also see 50 full and part time jobs created.

This €6m investment in the new ‘terminal style’ showroom in Waterford forms part of an overall strategic plan which will see Audi Ireland invest €80m over the next 18 months and create in the region of 200 jobs. Audi Ireland is currently in the process of rolling out 10 dedicated Audi dealerships throughout the country.

The new Audi Waterford showroom will display 18 new Audi models and up to 60 used cars in its new location at Butlerstown Roundabout, Cork Road, Waterford. Audi Waterford will be owned and operated by Anthony Boland while Brendan Walsh will be the General Manager.

The new Audi showroom in Waterford is yet another major positive development for Audi as it comes on the back of a successful start to 2011 for Audi in Ireland and globally.
