Toyota has launched its new Yaris on to the Irish market. The new car has a longer wheelbase, which has been increased by 50mm and interior space and boot capacity has been increased. Height has been reduced by 20mm. The new car will come with a choice of 69hp 1.0-litre VVT-I (111g/km Band A), 99hp 1.3-litre Dual VVT-I (120g/km Band A), 99hp 1.3-litre Dual VVT-I with MultiDrive 7 (118g/km Band A) and a 90hp 1.4-litre D-4D(104g/km Band A). The new car now features Stop/Start technology to reduce emissions.
The new car will come with a choice of three grades, Terra, Luna and Sol and prices start at €14,760 for the 3-door 1.0-litre Terra. The 1.3-litre Terra 3-door starts at €15,900 and the €1.4-litre D-4D (which only comes as a 5-door) starts at €17,600.
