SEAT reveals design future

The SEAT IBL previews SEAT's next generation of cars.

What is it?

The third part of SEAT's 'IB' concept trilogy. It began with the cool IBE coupé and continued with the realistic looking IBX SUV. The new SEAT IBL takes the form of a four-door saloon. It's not too far removed in size from SEAT's own Exeo model and it features a neat, simply designed interior.

Why's it here?

Despite the headlines cropping up around the world about this car being the next SEAT Toledo, it is in fact nothing more than a demonstration of where SEAT's design language is going. We reckon the first car to feature this look will be a replacement for the Leon. Or maybe SEAT's version of the VW up! city car.

Show stopper or floor filler?

Even SEAT will stop short of calling the IBL a show-stopper. It deserves a walk over to the SEAT stand though, so it's hardly floor filler. Will be interesting to see how it translates into a production car.
