The AA offers Irish drivers easy access to its garage network.

The AA (Automobile Association) Ireland claims to make car maintenance less stressful with its Approved Car Servicing. AA customers and members can access the Automobile Association's network of authorised service, maintenance and repair garages with just a click of a button via its new digital platform.

Once online, customers can choose a nearby garage to book an AA-Approved Interim Service or Full Service at a fixed price. For example, an interim service for petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles costs from €99.

During the service, if the garage discovers additional work, an expert from the new AA Ireland contact centre relays that information to the customer.

Simon Benson, Chief Operating Officer of AA Ireland, said: "Our appointed garages are chosen by us because of their commitment to and demonstration of providing the highest standards in customer care. We look forward to our AA member community and the wider motoring public enjoying this assurance."

Customers and AA members receive trade discounts on repairs, updates to their digital service history and repair records, along with SMS and email updates on the status of their car at every stage.

The announcement comes after the debut of the AA Ireland Approved Used Vehicles program, which offers buyers peace of mind as qualified mechanics carry out a 101-point safety check on every AA Approved Car.

So far, there are 15 AA Accredited Service, Maintenance and Repair locations, mainly in the Leinster region. However, by the end of March, there will be 20 locations, and by the end of 2023, there are plans to have close to 100 across the country.
