MINI has announced three new special editions - Resolute, Untold and Untamed - which will see individual styling cues and upgrade equipment across the MINI range.
Resolute
First up is Resolute, available as a trim level on all MINI Hatch models from the three-door and five-door Cooper and Cooper S to the MINI Electric and MINI Convertible.
Resolute models are available solely in Rebel Green, previously only seen on the company's high-powered John Cooper Works cars. The roof, like the door mirror caps are finished in white, though on the Convertible, the mirrors are black like the colour of the fabric roof. All exterior chrome is deleted which, MINI says, will be the case with its cars going forward.
Replacing those chrome accents in Resolute spec is a bronze colour that has been used on headlight surrounds, radiator grille, rear lights, side scuttles, door handles and tailgate. On Cooper S models the fuel filler and front apron are also finished in bronze, and, elsewhere around the body of Resolute models, chrome has been supplanted by black trim pieces.
Solid bonnet stripes have been replaced by a pattern of gold-coloured parallel lines while the door sills now bear "Resolute" lettering. 18-inch black alloy wheels are also offered on models in Resolute trim.
Inside too has seen a few changes befitting the Resolute's higher specification and higher price with sports seats in patterned fabric or leatherette, a leather sports steering wheel bearing Resolute badging, gold pinstriping throughout the cabin and plenty of ambient lighting. So too are MINI Driving Modes available with this package.

Untold
Only available on Clubman (estate) models, Untold sees Clubman Cooper and Cooper S models finished in metallic Sage Green and with sporty styling touches inspired by John Cooper Works models. The bonnet, roof, side scuttles, wing mirrors and door sill trims all feature a unique striped graphic, while the grille surround, bonnet crossbar and bi-colour 18-inch alloy wheels are painted in a brassy bronze.
Inside, as well as a higher spec than standard models, there are other brass-coloured styling touches such as on the air vents, Nappa leather steering wheel and floor mats. Untold models get some tech upgrades too including MINI Driving Modes and adaptive LED lighting.

Untamed
The changes to Untamed edition MINI Countryman models are intended, the company says, to emphasise its "adventurous nature".
Finished in Momentum Grey metallic paint, the Countryman Untamed also sees the lower air intake surround, air inserts in the front apron, side skirts, reflector inserts and the lower insert in the rear apron painted in the same colour as the rest of the body.
All exterior chrome has either been replaced by body-coloured or piano black trim and the bottoms of the doors get four diagonal stripes while the door sills and side scuttles are completed with a graphic pattern inspired by a mountain.
Inside, "nature-inspired" shades of green and blue dominate, with Highland Green materials contrasted with blue and green stitching. Again, there are more mountain- and landscape-shaped graphics throughout the interior with more "Untamed" lettering. Various accent pieces such as the centre console, door trim strips and air vent surrounds are finished in metallic blue, silver and black respectively.
Untamed trim is available across the Countryman line-up including on the All4 all-wheel drive models as well as the Countryman plug-in hybrid. Pricing goes like this:
