Oldest Bentley goes to auction

The 1921 Bentley 3 Litre is expected to fetch about $1 million.

A 1921 Bentley is the oldest surviving example of the marque and it's now up for sale.

The 1921 Bentley 3 Litre is chassis number 3 and was the first car delivered to a customer. With original matching numbers, the car comes with its brass headlights and grille intact. It also has the original bodywork that features a hood that fully disappears beneath an aluminium cover.

For sale by auction in the USA, the Bentley is expected to fetch more than $1 million (€705,000) when it goes under the hammer on 20 August at Pebble Beach, California.
