The new car is lighter and stiffer than before and features an increased track and larger diameter wheels. The new Swift is also 90mm longer with a 50mm longer wheelbase.
Power comes from a new 1.2-litre petrol engine putting out 92hp and 118Nm of torque, slightly more than the outgoing unit.
Emissions are lower too, now just 116g/km, a 17 percent improvement over the outgoing model, meaning it will be in Band A for car tax and VRT.
