Neil checks out the first Audi A2 e-tron in Ireland
Neil has been checking out the first new Audi A2 e-tron in Ireland, resplendent in this gorgeous shade of oh-so-nineties ‘Intense Blue.’ The range stretches to better than 600km depending on the battery and version, and it’s picking up styling cues from the much-loved nineties original. Teeny-tiny aero door handles are neat, and the starting price is just over €39,000. Upgrade, homage, or pastiche?
Diesel at first, then cheaper (five-seat only) Audi Q7 PHEVs in Ireland in 2027
Following the Irish media launch of the new Audi Q7 yesterday, we were able to glean a few more details about the big SUV. Buyers can order a TDI diesel model right now, from €122,050 and available in two power outputs. In early 2027, the e-hybrid plug-in-hybrid options (PHEVs) will launch, expected to bring the starting price down due to lower CO2 leading to lower VRT. The bad news is that the PHEV will only be available with five seats, so if you need a third row of seating, you'll need to stick to the diesels. Good news though: the S line is only €5 more expensive until the PHEVs arrive.
Audi A6 allroad confirmed for Irish market as PHEV only
