When does the timing belt in my BMW 1 Series need changing?

Hi, we have a 2005 BMW 116i with 124,000 kilometres on the clock. When do the timing and fan belts need to be changed? They haven't been done before.

Hi Ruairi,
The 1 Series has a timing chain, not a belt so no need to worry about that.
