Hi Jerry,
You've not told us the model year or which version you mean, though your description suggests a fairly modern plug-in-hybrid variant of the XC60. These have the potential to be economical, but only if you plug them in as often as possible to charge up the battery pack and run on electric power. If you don't do that, then it's effectively a very heavy petrol car and it will not be economical at all.
