Would I pay VAT on importing a Northern Irish company car?

Hi,
If I import a car from NI that is not new but has been a company car for a year, would I need to pay VAT in ROI if it is above 6,000km?

The information you’ve given us suggests that no VAT would be payable so long as you can prove all the dates and the status of the car. We’d urge you to send a query to Revenue to confirm that before committing to buying the car.
