When to replace the timing belt on a 2019 Volkswagen Golf?

Hi Alex,
Most 2019 Golfs powered by petrol engines have timing belts (instead of timing chains) and what Volkswagen refers to as "long-life" timing belts with no scheduled maintenance. We'd always have a mechanic check the conditon of the belt at servicing time, however.
The TDI diesels are different and come with a replacement schedule of at least every 210,000km regardless of time.
The 2.0-litre TSI petrol engines have timing chains.
