Is it time to change my Skoda Rapid's timing belt?

I drive a 2019 Skoda Rapid 1.0-litre petrol with 112,000km on the clock. I was told my timing belt needs changing shortly. Is this correct?

Hi Eamonn,
According to our source, that car has a long-life timing belt, which doesn't need checking until it has done 240,000km. No harm having it done earlier of course, but talk it through with a Skoda service centre so you can make up your own mind on it.
