Is it time to replace my Audi A4's timing belt?

The question

There are 110,000km on my 2015 Audi A4 2.0 since its last timing belt change; do I need to replace now and how much should I expect to pay?

Hi Seamus,

Assuming you mean a 2.0 TDI diesel, the interval is usually 210,000km between changes, regardless of time. Not that there's anything wrong with changing it early if you want the reassurance.

The price for the work will vary greatly depending on where you get the job done, so I can only suggest you shop around on that front. It is not a small job and the parts alone are likely to add up to hundreds of Euro.
