Hi Michael,
I'm assuming you're a private user, not a business one, as the latter is straight forward for insurance. We have heard anecdotally that owners of commercial vehicles that want them for private use have difficulty getting insurance.
All we can suggest is that you take the time to ring around and if you're getting nowhere with the big insurers, look to a specialist broker instead.
