How do I know if my car's start-stop system is not broken, given that it is not working?

Hi Carlos,
If it is not working at all, then there should be a 'check engine' light or other warning symbol permanently illuminated in the instruments when the engine is running. If there is not, but you are still suspicious, I suggest you bring the car along to a good mechanic to have it plugged into a diagnostic computer. That should reveal any error codes in the control computer.
