How do I book an NCT?

The question
I have bought a secondhand car but the NCT ran out last month. How do I go about booking an NCT and can I still drive it as it wasn't my fault the car has no NCT?

Hi Jain,
Well, unfortunately as the registered owner you are responsible for the NCT and you should have ensured before purchase that the car either had one or that you made a booking for one. Just head over to www.ncts.ie and get a date as soon as possible.
