Will my car fail its NCT if the odometer is stuck at 59,000km?

Hi Alan,
This would be classed as a fail and it's important that you get it fixed, as it's giving a false reading, which will mislead future buyers. Note that the mileage is now recorded in each NCT so if you don't get it fixed and it goes undetected then it will look very dodgy with two NCTs in a row with identical mileage readings.
A stuck odometer also looks dodgy to any buyer.
