Good idea to buy used BMW warranty?

Hello,
Is it a good idea to purchase a used car warranty (for roughly €500)? The BMW warranty is due to expire soon and the car is now seven years old.

Hi Jerome,
Yes, it certainly can be, depending on the car. With something like a BMW, where parts and repairs can be expensive, it can be hugely worth it. Put it this way, it’s a lot cheaper than shelling out to replace a gearbox, and cheaper than the cost of trading up to a younger example. Just make sure you read the fine print very carefully so that you know what’s covered and what’s not.
