Why does my engine warning light come back on after I got the two lambda sensors changed, which it said was the problem? My car is a 2003 Volkswagen Polo.

Hi Danielle,
Two things could be happening here: 1) the ECU (engine control unit) may not have been reset after fitting the new lambda sensors or 2) there could be another problem elsewhere.
Best to get the car back to the garage that did the work to investigate further.
