Are the Opel Zafira diesel good or bad?

Hi Eric,
It depends on the model and age of car that you’re looking at. The Zafira was always an excellent choice for space and versatility, and wasn’t bad to drive either. Later Zafira Tourer models are really very nice, and quite sophisticated. The older 1.9 CDTi and 1.7 CDTi models are a bit noisy and rough around the edges, though, and the 1.9 diesel has some common reliability issues (mostly to do with the particulate filter, the turbo and the dual-mass flywheel).
