Hi,

I'm looking at an ex-demo Oct 2023 Honda e:NY1 150kW Advance 69kWh with 5,040 miles on the clock for sale by Donnelly Group in Dungannon. I can't figure out what the cost of importing this will be.

Can you help?

Will the new MINI Countryman be sold as a PHEV?

Hi,

We are moving to Spain and thinking about buying a car from NI. Is it better to first register it in ROI and then transfer it to Spanish registration or directly registering it in Spain? There might be a problem in Spain as the car was not in use by us for six months. Also, does the same exemption apply to VAT as it does to ROI with the vehicle being in NI private use from before 2020 Brexit?

I have read the posts about buying a van for private use and being subject to higher tax. How does the old legislation deal with electric vans in that situation?

I have a 2011 RAV4 D4D and I'm not sure now whether it's 2wd or 4wd. It has a fuse in the 4wd option but no propshaft only wires to the rear wheels. I find I am only getting front-wheel drive when I get stuck on a slippery surface.

Does the new MG S5 have a heat pump as standard?

Hello.

My 152 VW Transporter van is a 4Motion 2.0-litre. It's commercial at the moment and annual tax is 333 euro. I'm thinking of converting it into a camper.

Can you tell me how much the tax would be on this van when converted into a camper? And how much the tax would be for private use?

Thank you for any help. It's much appreciated.

Hi.

As a long-term keeper would you recommend a turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine or would a four-cylinder non-turbo be a safer bet?

We'll be buying a new car next year. There are so many variants out there it's doing my head in.

We're not quite ready for all electric yet.

I have the new MG HS PHEV and have noted that you say that the fuel tank is of 55-litre capacity. I live in England and all the literature over here states 37 litres. But today I drove into a petrol station with 50 miles of petrol range on the clock and without filling up I put 44 litres in.

Is the 55-litre tank an EU market thing? If it is I would seem to have an Irish model as it's right-hand drive. Can you share any insights you might have on the tank size?

First time going electric; do I go for the Skoda Elroq 50 or BYD Atto 3? Don't do whole lot of driving and work is 5km away from me hence killing the GTD!
