I'm looking to buy my first car and have around €3,000 to spend. I would estimate that I would travel about 12,000 miles a year. Would you be able to give me any advice on what car to buy, taking into account things like insurance (I'm 22), running costs etc? Any advice would be great!

How much is my car really worth? It's a 2006 BMW 318 SE with beige leather, sunroof and usual spec. including 18-inch alloys, mileage - 71,000.
Hi, we're looking for a family car that will fit three child seats, not necessarily in the one row. We're considering a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. How would you rate this in comparison to other family MPVs? Other options we've considered are a Mazda5 or Ford S-Max. Motor tax costs are fairly important to us. We had a loan of a Toyota Corolla Verso and preferred our current Ford C-Max, so it's out of the running for us.

Hi lads, what could I expect to get in a private sale for a 2007 Volvo S80 D5 Geartronic model with full service history? I'm the second owner, it has 221,000km on the clock, a new NCT until June 2015 and it's immaculate.

What is the difference between a 'twin cam' and an ordinary Subaru Justy? I am thinking of buying a 2009 model in Waterford, but I think the private seller is asking way too much. I missed one from a SIMI dealer a few days ago - same year and mileage (only 18,000 miles) - which was sold for €5,950 - supposedly not a twin cam.
I would appreciate any information you can provide on this type of vehicle.

Hi, I drive a 2012 Opel Astra 1.7 CDTi diesel and just wondering how often it has to be serviced. My local Opel dealer says every 10,000km and just wondering is this correct or is it just to get more money! It was serviced last February and now 10,000km later do I need to get it serviced again?
