Wet or dry belt in the 2022 Skoda Fabia 1.0?
Does the Volkswagen 1.0 TSI 70kW 'DKL' engine in the Skoda Fabia (2022) have a wet belt (belt in oil)? Or is the belt dry?
Should I worry about any degradation if the belt is in oil?

Hi,
I'm looking at buying in Northern Ireland, a 2022 MG5 61.1kWh Exclusive Long Range with 22,000 miles on the clock for £13,000. It was previously owned in N.I. What can I expect to pay in VRT, VAT and other import charges?
Thanks
What kind of car do you drive Neil?
Hi,
I am on the hunt for my first "new" car - I've only ever had hand me downs. I'm currently driving a low mileage (<92,000km) 2000 Yaris, which is running well and NCT'd until end of October. I am thinking of an MG3+ Excite, Hyundai i20 Deluxe or Kia Stonic.
I have test driven all, for around 20 minutes in city traffic. I will be using the car mainly for work, which is 80km round trip, mostly on N or M roads. It'll be around 12-hour shifts, a mix of day and nights, so visibility, safety and comfort are factors.
It will also be used for occasional trips around the country but rarely used on days off from work or short run-arounds. I am also thinking of trying a Renault Clio Evolution.
I have found one of each type, coming in around €25,000, which is my maximum budget.
Your opinion would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
I love the look of the Opel Astra Sports Tourer but if I was interested it would be in an electric version. The opel.ie website is very confusing as to whether that exists.
On https://www.opel.ie/cars/sports-tourer/overview-features.html it says "Make way for the new generation Opel Astra Sports Tourer. Choose petrol, diesel or 100% electric".
Further down that page, it says "The future is electric. Discover Astra Sports Tourer Plug-in Hybrid. Performance without compromise. Are you ready for a change?"
Now, plug-in hybrid might be great but it's not 100 per cent electric. I've tried the car configurator and the price list but nowhere is there a reference to an electric Astra Sports Tourer.
Does it exist?
I am considering trading in my 2025 Hyundai Tucson automatic (plug-in hybrid) for a new (2026) Kona automatic. Would I make any cash on the deal?

I have lived in North Ireland for five years; can I transfer my car with finance on it or does finance have to be cleared to get a VRT exemption?
Hi,
Does the VW ID. Buzz have a spare wheel and if so where is it located?
