A friend of mine in Dublin is planning to import a 1990 Opel Monza GSi saloon from Cape Town in South Africa she's seen online, but is it legal to import to Republic of Ireland and, since it's identical to the old Opel Kadett sold in Ireland in the 1980s, no parts issues?

Trading in a 2007 Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec, which was around 70hp. New Polo default seems to be 1.0-litre 65hp, actually lower power than 12-year-old Fiesta? Maybe default SEAT ibiza SE is better with its 1.0 MPI EVO 80hp engine. Load of one adult and two children, Offaly/Kildare roads and M4 travel twice a week to Liffey Valley usage.

My 2004 BMW X3 has a serious problem of high fuel consumption; it uses one litre to drive a four-kilometre distance; what could be the cause?
The auto start-stop not working even when the engine is at 80 degrees, any reason why? Or what I am doing wrong. It's a 2015 Mercedes C 220.
I have a 2011 Audi A3 and the stop-start system throws up an amber light warning that it is not working. How do I switch the stop-start system off until I can get it fixed?
