choosing used car

Hello,

For financial reasons I have to sell my 2005 Citroen Xsara Picasso diesel. I really like the style of the car and therefore I would like to stick with Citroen. Vitally important though is: it MUST have three seat belts in the back. So I am looking for a smaller and cheaper to run vehicle. I will have about €2,000 to spend. Can you tell me what cars of under 1.6-litre have the required three seat belts? I have three grand-daughters!!!

Many thanks,

What's the Honda FR-V like?

Is there much difference between the 1.2- and 1.4-litre Honda Jazz models?

What do you think about the Daihatsu Terios; would you recommend?

Is the 2010/2011 Kia Sportage a good car in general? I'm changing from a Hyundai Santa Fe and need a comparably sized vehicle, though with lower tax as I do not need extra power for towing.

If you had up to €10k to spend on a hatchback with low running costs (small diesel ideally) with enough room for a couple of bikes in the back, what would you spend your money on?

Hi,

I'm currently looking to purchase either a Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Powershift or a Volkswagen Passat 1.9 TDI DSG. Looking at year ranges from 2007-10. Can you please advise on both cars in terms of smoothness of gear change and fuel economy? Also, If I do purchase a 2008 or above model can you tell me the road tax based on emissions for both cars?

Thanks

Should I go for an Audi A3 petrol (2011, 1.2 engine, 67,982km) or an A3 1.6 diesel (2011, 82,077km)? Which is the better buy and why?

Are Audi A3s (1.2 petrol, 2011) good cars to invest in?

Hello lads,

I currently drive a Peugeot 206 and in my 10 years of ownership the last six months have been plagued by problems. Can you recommend a good diesel car, max €3,000? I drive approx 100 miles a day for work.

Thank you, John in Wicklow
