I want to buy a Suzuki Vitara, but its finance rate is high and there are no scrappage or reduced rate offers. Other brands have great deals; do you think they will launch a finance offer soon?

I'm looking at getting a small family car that's going to have low running costs. I'm torn between taking out a PCP for a new car like a Nissan Pulsar or topping up the cash I have with a small credit union loan for a five(ish)-year old car like a Hyundai i20.

If one takes out a PCP plan and has to relocate to another country, what happens to the car and payments?

My beloved Alfa 1.9 JTDm 159's gearbox has gone and now needs to be replaced. Considering it is an 06 and has over 242,000 miles on the clock, it will need a clutch and DMF replacement as well. Is it worth it, and what diesel cars would be recommended for someone driving 35,000 miles a year? Are PCP options even feasible at that mileage?

Can I sell my car once I'm half way through my PCP agreement?

Hi, do most garages offer PCP finance and do they only offer it on new vehicles or would you be able to get it on a second hand car? I have always got Credit Union loans so haven't a clue about PCP, but it looks good.

Are PCP prices fixed or negotiable?

Why are final payments on PCP contracts so high? For every brand I look at, if I calculate the deposit plus finance cost plus final payment it seems I end up paying about nine or ten thousand more than the car is worth!

Who are the top ten car finance providers in Ireland?

Are there any criteria for a PCP contract with a new car? Do you have to give proof of income or credit history? My wife and I are self employed.
