choosing new car

Hello, could you tell me what you think of the Audi A6 2.0-litre TDI and the BMW 520d - both 2011 models please?

Have you heard anything about why it is taking so long for the new Kia Sportage to reach Irish showrooms? Is it just right hand drive cars for Ireland and UK that are slow to arrive or is it all over Europe?

My question is: I'm looking to change my 2006 1.2 SEAT Ibiza and am considering the 1.2 Volkswagen Golf Highline or the Toyota Auris 1.3 Sport. I drive every day, mostly city driving but only do about 6,000km a year. Do you have any comments on either of the cars I'm considering or is there anything else I should have a look at?

I have a 2004 Honda CR-V 2.0-litre petrol that I want to change next year. One of the three cars I have in mind is the new diesel CR-V because they are so reliable. My CR-V has 112,000 miles on the clock and a blown light bulb has been the most trouble it's ever given.

The second car is a Subaru Forester because again it's reliable and roomy.

My final choice is a new model BMW X3 because of less tax. I have test driven one and liked it a lot. Could you give some advice please?

I have a budget of €20,000 approx. I will also qualify for scrappage as I currently drive a 2000 Toyota Corolla. I cannot decide between the new diesel 1.6 Mazda 3 hatchback, new model 1.6 Ford Focus Edge or Zetec or the Diesel 1.6 VW Trendline. Which of these is the better car and which is the most reliable? I'm stuck between the Scoda Octavia Greenline and the Mitsubishi Lancer diesel? Both are costing me about the same with scrappage etc. HELP me decide!!!!! I have test driven both and the Mitsubishi has much better performance but the Octavia is much better on the running cost!!

Which would you choose? Volkswagen Passat 1.6 TDI BlueMotion Comfortline or the Citroen C5 1.6 eHDi VTR+NAV (both four-door saloons)?

We are going to avail of the scrappage scheme to buy a new car. Our main needs are:

- great storage: we cart around jogging buggies, bike trailers, hiking back packs etc.

- preferably A tax band (if such cars exist in Band A).

Because of storage needs we have been looking at seven seaters (although we just have one child we love lots of storage capacity) and my husband spotted one we both like (the Ford Grand C-Max). We really like the sliding back doors and the tinted back windows - keeping the sun out of our two-year old daughter's eyes is a constant struggle! It is a bit out of our price range (though if really worth it we could stretch). Just wondering what you would recommend and if there is a something similar to the Ford C-Max but cheaper?
