Toyota bZ4X

Toyota's first EV in Ireland is the high-quality bZ4X, which has now been updated.

The much-hyped Toyota bZ4X electric SUV fell a bit flat initially, as it just wasn’t able to deliver its official efficiency numbers in real-world conditions. Hopefully, this major update will release the enormous potential of Toyota’s battery tech (rugged enough to qualify for a ten-year, one-million-kilometre warranty, if you stick to servicing requirements) and turn the bZ4X into a truly all-round useable electric SUV. There are some small tweaks to the styling and the cabin layout, and to be fair to the bZ4X, it was already a strong seller in Ireland.
